• We freight the wine to the selected airport only. Importation of the wine into the country of destination (customs clearing, handling charges and duties and taxes) is EXCLUDED.
• Customs clearing for all shipments is at OWN RISK AND OWN COST.
• Cape Grape and Wine Logistics does not accept any liability for any charges incurred from the moment that the wine has arrived in the airport of destination.
• Please supply contact telephone number, fax number and email address.
• We instruct the airlines to contact consignee by telephone upon arrival.
• We will fax or email consignee with flight details.
• Please collect cargo within 2 days to avoid storage charges

• Please select destination airport from directory of Airports, and specify on our waybill.
• The airlines reserve the right to suspend service to any destination without notice. Cape Grape and Wine Logistics cannot be held responsible for airline routing changes. In this event, we will contact consignee to make alternative arrangements.

USA & Canada Shipments

• US wine import regulations vary from state to state. Many states prohibit the import of wine completely, others require special import permits.
• The following states require a wine import permit: Washington DC, Arizona, Utah, California, North Carolina, Kentucky, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia.
• We recommend that clients confirm what wine import restrictions apply in the state of destination, BEFORE confirming shipping.
